Pearl Gaming Shortcuts & Tips

CPA vs. Rev Share

While most seasoned affiliates are fully aware of the benefits of CPA and Rev Share, some of Pearl Gaming's newer affiliates may be new to these terms. Since Pearl Gaming is actively integrating more properties who offer Revenue Share commissions, we'd like to take this time to explain the differences.

Pearl Gaming provides CPA of $50 - $100, and Revenue shares from 25% - 35%.

Most of our properties offer only CPA commission at this time, so we'll cover it first. CPA mean Cost Per Action. By acquiring a CPA commission, an affiliate is paid a set dollar amount for every player driven to a promoted property who makes a minimum deposit amount.

Revenue Share, on the other hand, pays a lower dollar amount initially, calculated in percentage, but the profits are cumulative. This means the affiliate will continue to profit from every player driven to a promoted property so long as the player continues doing business with the property, which over time can become a very hefty sum per month. Currently, Pearl Gaming properties who offer Revenue Share are: Betfred Poker, Betfred Casino, Manchester United Poker, Manchester United Casino, Giant Vegas Casino, Sierra Star Casino, Royal Dice Casino and Des Royaux Casino.

Pearl Gaming's CPA and Revenue Share Commission Structures are as follows.

CPA Commission Structure
Players' monthly first deposit average is: Affiliate receives:
$100 or more $100 per player
$51 - $99 $50 per player

Rev Share Commission Structure
Player Net Revenue Per Calendar Month ; Affiliate Receives:
$20,000 or more 35%
$10,000 - $19,999 30%
$1 - $9,999 25%

Installing New Rev Share Properties

As announced in last weeks Pearl Digest, Pearl Gaming has recently integrated several new properties with Revenue Share commission options for our affiliates. These properties include Giant Vegas Casino, Royal Dice Casino, Sierra Star Casino and Des Royaux Casino. The first time you attempt to install one of these properties, you will need to follow a few simple steps.

First, from the Products Menu on your CMS Admin Panel, scroll down to the property and click Install. Next, a drop down menu appears along with an Install button. The drop down menu should say “Revenue Share”. Now click the Install button.

A new page will load where you will be asked to enter a captcha. A captcha is a series of letters and numbers shown on an image to prevent spamming and fraudulent activity. Enter the captcha in the text area provided, then click Submit Query.

Once you have done this, you will need to install the product once more from the Products Menu on your CMS Amdin Panel. If an affiliate does not complete this process, the installation will not be complete. Please note that you will only need to complete these steps once - the first time you attempt to install one of these products. The remainder of the products may be installed in the usual manner.

Payment Processors Support Frank's Bill

The UC Group, a London based payment service provider, has launched the Safe And Secure Internet Gambling Initiative. The purpose of this initiative is to urge support towards Barney Frank's proposed bill that would license and regulate Internet gambling in the US while providing maximum security and protection to online players.

Jeffrey Sandman, a spokesperson for the UC Group, said it best. “Millions of Americans are currently gambling online in an unregulated environment without any consumer protections… Internet gambling is a matter of personal choice and many Americans see the current prohibition as an unnecessary intrusion into their private life.”

Many US players feel this infringement is unfair and continue to gamble on the Internet. The problem being that the majority of Internet gaming operations that will accept US players are unregulated and therefore cannot provide the security and assurance of fair gaming that players deserve.

The CEO of UC Group, Kobus Paulsen, stated, “It is clear that prohibition in the US isn’t working for anyone. Instead of leaving Internet gambling unregulated, uncontrolled and underground, this legislation will create meaningful protection and safeguards for consumers throughout the USA. It will also ensure the integrity of Internet gambling transactions.”

By implementing a licensed, regulated environment, Frank's bill would provide integrity, security and protection for millions of US customers. On behalf of UC Group, Paulsen concluded, “We are proud to be backing this Bill which will bring safety and security to this line of business, an objective which we have been committed to achieving for quite some time.”

UIGEA Gambling Law News

More E-Wallets Avoid US Market

Since the passing of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) in October of 2006, e-wallets and payment processors across the globe have been pulling out of the US market in relation to online gambling transfers. While some of these companies have opted to pull out on their own, others have been forced out by the US Department of Justice (DOJ).

Most recently, Citadel Commerce, a subsidiary of ESI Entertainment Systems, has been forced from the US Market when the DOJ seized $9.25 million from the company. The assets, mostly belonging to online gambling operations, are now frozen. It has not been reported which gaming companies these funds belong to, nor whether they offer only sports betting services or other types of gaming.

Other payment processors who have left the US market behind include FirePay, who opted out in October of 2006 when the UIGEA was passed, and NETeller, who was essentially forced out upon the arrest of two co-founders, John Lefebvre and Steve Lawrence back in January of 2007.

Click2Pay, another payment processing giant in the online gaming industry, has also recently informed their US customers that they may no longer be able to effectively transfer withdraws from online gambling operations to US accounts. In reference to withdrawing these funds, Click2Pay has told their US customers, “We suggest transferring your funds to any merchant website and using the withdrawing options there.”
